Gilberto is an experienced financial analyst with a focus on private equity funds and a strong understanding of various sectors, including distribution, cloud and cybersecurity, manufacturing, food and beverage, healthcare, and consumer goods.
He began his career at Serficor IMAP as a Junior Analyst, where he supported the team in M&A transactions. Following this role, Gilberto transitioned to Tara Capital as an Investment Analyst, playing a key role in the acquisition of Octapus.io, a leading platform for digital sovereignty in Latin America that provides innovative cloud and cybersecurity solutions for SMEs undergoing digital transformation.
Gilberto represented Serficor in the IMAP 2024 Spring Confernece where he discussed M&A best practices, conducted bilateral meetings with most of the 450 IMAP professionals and completed a communications and idea structuring training, enhancing his negotiation soft skills within the investment banking universe.
Gilberto holds a B.A. in International Business Administration from Universidad Iberoamericana and is certified as a Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA) by the Corporate Finance Institute.
